Stanley Scott

 

Rev. Stanley Scott serves as Youth Pastor & Director of Student Ministries at New Hope Baptist Church of Memphis under the leadership of Rev. Robert J Matthews. 

Minister Stan or Pastor Stan as he is affectionately called by the youth of New Hope previously served as Youth Pastor of Second Baptist Church of Benton Harbor, Michigan where he was licensed and ordained to preach the gospel. Rev. Scott is employed by Shelby County Governments Commission on Aging & Disability. 

He has previously served in the roles of Director of Shelter Services for the Salvation Army, Homeless Prevention Specialist, Fundraising Manager and Resource Development for Emergency Shelter Services. He received his post secondary education and training from Shelby State Community College, Indiana University South Bend and Boston University. He has received theological training from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and he is currently pursuing a theology degree at Stillman College 

( Tuscaloos, AL).  Rev. Scott is married to Lotisa Scott and they have 4 children.

 Minister Scott believes that GOD is up to something BIG and that our young people are huge part of it. Minister Scott has a sincere desire to see ALL of your people reach their full potential spiritually, mentally and physically.
